🎯 Main Mission of the Role
You’ll be responsible for leading the full scope of our plant operations, aligning commercial, financial, technical, manufacturing, and operational areas.
Your mission: ensure the highest standards in safety, quality, and performance through team development, process optimization, and strategic decision-making.
💼 Key Responsibilities
• Lead day-to-day plant operations and ensure efficiency
• Manage financial aspects: OPEX budget, CAPEX, and key projects
• Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety standards (incl. ISO 14001 / ISO 9001)
• Drive and implement continuous improvement initiatives across processes, systems, and culture
• Conduct regular Gemba Walks as a hands-on leadership practice
• Promote LEAN methodologies: 5S, Kaizen, Kanban, and more
• Build long-term technical and technological capabilities
• Set challenging goals and track team performance
• Implement efficient business processes to meet/exceed safety, cost, and productivity targets
• Develop internal talent, manage performance, and plan succession
• Lead key communications, including reporting and interactions with HQ
• Represent the plant both internally and externally
📚 Requirements: Education & Experience
• Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electromechanical Engineering or similar – MBA is highly valued!
• 10+ years of leadership experience in industrial plant environments (ideally in auto parts manufacturing)
• Solid track record in operations management
• Strong financial, accounting, operational, and engineering systems knowledge
• Outstanding leadership, communication, and team management skills
• Fluent and advanced English (spoken and written)

• Excellent organizational and team/program management skills
• Advanced finance, cost control, and accounting principles
• Holistic view of cross-functional operations
• Excellent communication (written and verbal)
• Practical knowledge of engineering systems and industrial processes
• Proven experience in implementing LEAN tools (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, Andon, Jidoka, SMED)
• Advanced use of Excel, Power BI, and PowerPoint
• Availability to travel

📍 Location: Rotation between La Plata & Tortuguitas plants
🕒 Schedule: On-site, Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
